A Travel Advisor in Disney World

A Travel Advisor at Walt Disney World: Training, Magic & New Discoveries As a travel advisor, I always strive to keep up with the latest knowledge and firsthand experiences so I can give my clients the very best recommendations. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in Walt Disney World’s Adult Education Program— 5 days dedicated to professional training, park exploration, and resort tours. I walked away not only more inspired than ever, but also deeply impressed with Disney’s commitment to both quality training and unforgettable guest experiences.

Disney’s Commitment to Training Excellence

The Adult Education Program went above and beyond my expectations. Disney didn’t just share information—they immersed us in their culture of guest service, attention to detail, and innovation. From in-depth sessions about park operations and vacation planning to hands-on experiences inside the parks and resorts, the training reinforced why Disney is a leader in the travel industry. As an advisor, this knowledge allows me to craft even more magical and personalized vacations for my clients.

Experiencing the Four Parks Firsthand

Of course, no time at Walt Disney World would be complete without stepping into the magic of its four theme parks:

  • EPCOT – I loved experiencing the blend of culture, cuisine, and innovation. The World Showcase is always a highlight, and the new attractions reminded me how Disney continues to evolve while honoring its traditions.
  • Magic Kingdom – Walking down Main Street, U.S.A. never loses its magic. Experiencing the classic attractions alongside new favorites gave me insight into what appeals to families, couples, and first-time visitors alike.
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom – A true celebration of nature, storytelling, and adventure. Pandora – The World of Avatar continues to be breathtaking, and I can’t wait to recommend it to my clients who are looking for something immersive and awe-inspiring.
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios – From Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to Toy Story Land, this park is packed with thrills. Experiencing these areas reminded me just how much fun adults and kids alike can have here.

Touring Resorts: Finding the Right Fit for Every Guest

One of the highlights of the program was touring six different Disney resorts, ranging from value to deluxe accommodations. Seeing the unique themes, amenities, and locations firsthand allows me to better match clients with the resort that fits their style and budget. Whether someone is looking for whimsical theming, family-friendly conveniences, or luxurious touches, there truly is a Disney resort for everyone.

Stepping Aboard the Disney Wish

Our tour also had something truly special—a tour of the Disney Wish, Disney Cruise Line’s beautiful ship. This ship is stunning, blending Disney’s signature storytelling with state-of-the-art amenities. From imaginative kids’ clubs to elegant adult spaces and Broadway-caliber entertainment, the Wish offers something for every traveler. After stepping onboard, I can confidently say a Disney Cruise is an experience like no other.

Why This Experience Matters for My Clients

Attending the Adult Education Program gave me the tools, insights, and firsthand knowledge I need to create truly personalized Disney vacations. I’m even more prepared to help clients navigate their choices—whether that’s deciding between resorts, planning park days, or considering a magical sailing with Disney Cruise Line.

For me, these few days were more than training—it was a reminder of why I love what I do. Disney doesn’t just create vacations; they create memories that last a lifetime. And I’m here to help bring that magic to life for each of my clients.
